Thank you all.
Melissa as usual was so very grateful.
A portion of your donation will go for more dental work. You paid for that.
Melissa reiterated what I have stated before- your donation helps with copays, out of pocket expenses, out of network doctors... the list goes on and on.
Without your help, the Motts would have to cut back on what the health care system deems non essential (like visiting a sleep consultant, some prescription medicine, dental work.,etc).
Every day, Anna takes 11 pills. Every day. Let that sink in a minute. YOU help pay for her prescription drugs.
Your donation makes and has made a difference in Anna'a young life. You make it happen. I just deliver the check and get the hugs.
God bless you all.
God Bless Anna Mott

That's pretty cool, I had never heard her voice...

For some reason, Anna’s talking to people that aren’t here gets so much worse at night. All sorts of strange things come up for her: memories, twisted memories, weird words and distorted names, and more.
Tonight though, she got me.
I heard her say, “I never had a boyfriend and I never will.â€
We are very lucky to be healthy and alive . Able to do the things we enjoy.... There has been so much death and sickness around me the past 12 months . Young and old. I too count my blessings every day ..... Anna may not have a chance to have a boyfriend or other "normal" milestones that someone her age has but she does have family and good friends to be with her.... That counts for something I would imagine. I told my wife recently that as long I can be rolled to a window to see a sunset or a sunrise and I seemed to be enjoying it, dont pull the plug.... Simple things can still give much pleasure. Love is the biggest of them... Anna is certainly loved
Yep, Anna has a bunch of grey-haired old Britbike lovin' long-distance boyfriends.
I hope she understands the inspiration she gives us. We whine and complain about a blemish on an "expensive" paint job, or a pattern part we waited 2 weeks for that won't fit, and we are so miserable. Anna is the adult in the room. God bless her.

The link doesn't work, but this is UN-FREAKING-BELIEVABLE...

"If y’all can believe this, my house and cars just got shot up in a drive by shooting. Our house was targeted. We have no idea why, it must be mistaken identity, of course, but we are horrified and terrified and our most of our cars are pretty ruined. Aaron was almost hit. Please pray for our safety. We have no money to move and don’t know what we will do."
"I cannot stop shaking and crying. We have no idea who would do this to us or why or how this even happened. This has to be a mistake but we are living out the reality of it. Olivia‘s new car, Steve’s car, and the rental truck that I was driving while my car was in the shop all have bullet holes and the cars are missing windows all around now. One of the bullets lodged in the house between my room where Anna and I were asleep and Aaron and Isaacs room where Aaron was standing in front of the window when the shots were fired. We are very blessed to be alive and we are terrified now to be in our own home. We really need prayers and thank you all for the texts of love and support.
Ella was in the back of that truck on the phone 30 mins before this all happened. Thanking God she was safe inside when it happened."

Thats crazy.... I hope they catch the f**kers... Must have been a mistaken identity .... Doest seem like a kid taking potshots.... Took many shots and too much damage and seems really vicious and thorough , covering any position a person is likely to be in .... ie. cars, house ect...... Bad drug deal or something involving whomever the correct intended target was ....
Beyond "scary", as if already fighting the fight of their lives, and the global pandemic wasn't tough enough...

The damages to Olivia's car alone are $9000! Insurance will probably total the car, by my experience as a paint/body shop owner. Not many cars can take $9K in damages and not be totaled!
Not easy to scratch out for others when we live in such uncertainty, but we Britbikers will do what we can.
Yet again, people that amaze us with their forbearance, step up to another level that would SURELY make some of us crumble; and I DEFINITELY include myself...

Time to consider helping Anna and the Mott family for Anna’s 24th birthday.
This fundraiser finds the Motts in a financial bind. Because of the quarantine, Melissa’s job as a special events hostess is on hold. Sales at CarMax, where Steve works on commission, have slumped.
Additionally and unbelievably as reported above, their house was riddled with bullets during a drive by shooting in March.
Couple all of the above with Anna’s condition, and you have a stressed family. I don’t know how they cope.
Your support as always is appreciated more than I can ever convey.
I put my '66 Bonny up for sale; once it sells, I'll send what I can.
God bless the Motts, we love you, Anna...
