Long trips in the truck yesterday and today. Playing R.L. Burnside's "Come On In" album so I can sing along ..... Lannis

Whoops. The Lovely Rose said we are listening to this classic rock love song. So, whilst I listen to a bit of Police, The Lovely Rose asks us to give an ear to Bryan Adams and "our" song."

Really like Bryan Adams. When "Summer of '69" rolls around on the cassette player in the shop, I'm singin' along big time .... !

I can listen to and enjoy anything from Big Band to bluegrass to blues, but hip hop and rap just leave me cold. I will admit to going full volume on Rebel Rebel by Bowie whenever it plays. Problem I have now is I mostly listen to the ringing in my ears (and the voices in my head..but they're baaaad
)

Can't pin down any particular style because there are just too many, but still like to listen to Quicksilver, Savoy Brown to name a couple. Also an obscure forgotten combo from San Francisco called Lamb labeled psycadelic folk comes to mind. Many many more.

Dark Side Of The Moon from beginning to end
That album sold more sets of headphones than any record ever, especially quad headphones.
Tonight, it's Tommy Bolin, "Teaser." Can't stay away from the turntable since I got analog world set up in my studio.

Tonight, another venture into vinyl. Started off with "Strange Land" by Box of Frogs, a little Steve Hunter, and now it's Ian Hunter/ Mick Ronson, "Welcome to the Club." "You didn't know what rock'n'roll was until you met the drummer on the Greyhound bus."

The Record Company has been sparking me up lately....
Old's cool new school bluesy rock with a lap steel. 3 piece soul sauce.
Dig it.
